You’ve Graduated from USNA. Now What?

Do you wonder what life as a Naval Academy graduate like. You’ve gotten through one of the toughest schools in the country. You’re entrusted with the careers and lives of dozens of enlisted men and women and responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars–something many people don’t achieve in a lifetime of work.

What’s that like?

Well, here’s one person’s feedback. S/he’s a Lt. (jg), Surface Warfare (SWO), ship undisclosed. Check out this picture of her morning:

Lemon Jello has many uses

This is what I found on my desk when I got to the office this morning: my stapler encased in jello. Niiiiiiice

How about this? You’re friends are out of college, employed (well, maybe not in a 9.2% unemployment rate these days), dolled up in suits and heels and well-coifed doos. What about you?

Sometimes I look down and realize I’m wearing fire-retardant coveralls, combat boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses and think to myself, “what the HELL am I doing with my life?!?”
