Disclosures
Because the FTC requires bloggers to provide disclosures whenever there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations, we’re going to cover our bases and state outright:
if I link to someone’s blog, review a product, make a recommendation, or otherwise direct your attention to any material outside of this website, go ahead and assume I’m not getting paid to do it. I might get a free product, so I can review it, but I never get food, money, anything else.
Although I wouldn’t mind it.
In other words, the only item I’ve ever gotten is the first (free book):
