How Do They Do a ‘Fly Over’? I’ll Tell You

Have you ever been to a USNA graduation ceremony when the Blue Angels rocket over the crowd in precise timing? Or maybe a Notre Dame or Navy football game when our sky boys awe the pre-game crowd with a ‘fly over’ featuring American fighter jets blasting over the stadium at just the right money? Here’s how they do that.

Here are some pictures of the Blue Angel air show at my daughter’s USNA graduation (and a few others thrown in of the Blue Angels at play). It’s hard to believe these pilots are talented enough to do the feets they make look so simple. This is what makes them such awsome opponents in the ‘air’ part of war.
